Rwanda Gorilla Safari

DAY 1: KIGALI.

Arrive Kigali airport where you will be met and transferred to your hotel.

Lunch under own arrangements.

This afternoon take a tour of Kigali city which includes the Memorial Museum and the craft centre amongst otherS.

Dinner under own arrangements.

Overnight at Kigali Serena Hotel

 

DAY 2: KIGALI TO PARC DES VOLCANS

Leisurely drive north to Ruhengeri to arrive in time for lunch.

This afternoon take a scenic drive to view the twin lakes, Ruhondo and Burera.

Dinner and overnight at Mountain Gorillas Nest

 

DAY 3: GORILLA TREKKING THEN TO LAKE KIVU.

After an early breakfast drive to the park offices 0700hrs at the park offices, you will be allocated a gorilla group followed by a briefing by your trackers/guides.

This will be followed by a drive to where the trails start and the adventure begins.

Upon sighting the gorillas, you will stay with them for a magical hour before returning to the base where your driver will be waiting for you.
Venue for lunch will depend on the length of your track.

After lunch drive to Gisenyi, on the shores of Lake Kivu.

Dinner under own arrangements.

Overnight at Lake Kivu Serena Hotel

 

DAY 4: LAKE KIVU TO KIGALI THEN DEPARTURE.

Leisurely drive back to Kigali for your transfer to the airport for your departure flight.
